remote X11 client drops display

but

if RPi is left idle one needs to reboot to launch new applications that use X11, else:
cannot open display: localhost:10.0

 The ones already displayed work fine.

A fix and workarounds are of interest.

Is this still an issue for you? Works fine for me between a Jessie Raspbian and Ubuntu trusty.
