Comment 2 for bug 774476

The main problem comes when I (re)import all my photos (some have been modified). there is no creation date on linux so the only solution is to use metadata.
I suppose you use modifed date and I believe it works like that on my installation.
Is it possible to have a checkbox (which is disabled by default of course and with slow mention near it) to enable this behavior ?
