Bug Description

F-Spot and ShotWell can't open these images at all. Geeqie (my default viewer) shows only picture that was opened with double click from system file browser (Nautiius in my case), but index of appears as empty. When browsing folders with Geeqie they appear to be completely empty, i.e. not even single image is visible.

Opps, I don't add extension to file rename section. Sorry, please close this bug.
But tell me: in what case file without extension could be useful?

The file extension is going to be necessary for almost all users, I agree. It's just a matter of creating the code to warn the user in case they forget.

In the new 0.9 series, it is impossible not to specify a file extension, so this bug is no longer relevant.
