Bug Description

I'm trying to move Canon .CR2 images from an SD card using RPD 0.4.10, on Mint 16, which sits on top of Ubuntu 13.10.

When I move images, they are copied, but not deleted from the SD card. They are marked with the downloaded icon, and everything looks to complete OK, except that the files are not removed from the card.

* I definitely have 'Move' selected rather than 'Copy'.
* I'm pretty certain that the files have been successfully copied. In order to be sure, I've compared md5 checksums of the files on the sd card with the ones that have been copied to the hard drive.
* The images remain displayed in the thumbnail listing of the SD card's content, with a downloaded status icon in placeofthe checkbox. That seems reasonable if the image was copied, and is still on the sd card, but presumably if the software thinks its been removed from there the thumbnail should be removed from the listing. I'm not sure if this is evidence that the program knows it was only copied, or if I'm making wrong assumptions about the semantics of the interface, or this is related to bug #885088

From a terminal, run:

rapid-photo-downloader --debug

copy every line of the output and include it in the bug report.

There are two likely possibilities:
1. Rapid Photo Downloader detected a problem with the download and as a precautionary measure did not delete any images after it copied them, which is precisely how I designed it.
2. The main Rapid Photo Downloader process crashed and the deletion does not occur although it should

Thanks for that. The debug output let me know that the sdcard was mounted read only, and I think I've found the reason why that was happening (will find out after a restart of my X session).

[ERROR/MainProcess] Error removing file: Read-only file system

The failure to delete the file is therefore not RPD's fault, but I think the failure to alert the user to the problem should be regarded as a bug.
