Bug Description
When I insert a device like my Android phone or an SD card, Rapid Photo Downloader shows it twice (and then tries to download off both devices simulatneously).

Rapid Photo Downloader depends on Gnome system libraries to download from external devices. If they're not working properly, that causes problems. Unfortunately I don't have the time or expertise to debug them. I suggest manually copying the files using Nautilus to your computer, and then if you wish use Rapid Photo Downloader to rename them and store them as you prefer.
