Bug Description

Debian seems to have different permission than ubuntu when it comes to apache logs.

We should avoid unnecessary sudos in ubuntu while avoiding crashes on debian.

the issue seems relative to being or not in the 'adm' group. it affects, therefore, ubuntu as well.

there's also an issue for user who don't belong to /etc/sudoers.
We should warn the user about this and refuse doing anything on that server.
