Bug Description

Very similarly to what was happening with the colon character in bug #1181216, those two characters are not input when running autopilot tests that use them. This is illustrated with the webbrowser-app autopilot tests.

For the opening parenthesis, running the following test from the webbrowser_app suite on a device illustrates the issue:

    webbrowser_app.tests.test_history.TestHistorySuggestions.test_special_characters

(note that the issue is present only on devices, not when running the tests on a desktop setup).

This bug affects autopilot tests of the webbrowser, The links that the browser opens in its autopilot tests are autogenerated during the test run and in some-cases those links may have a underscore in them so that results in a test failure.

And I should add that the names of the files are generated using tempfile.mkstemp(…) (see http://docs.python.org/2/library/tempfile.html#tempfile.mkstemp), so we don’t have any control over the characters used to generate the filename.
