Creating a new QML project should add sensible defaults to the .bzrignore file

Bug Description

Every QML Project when opened by a user in Qtcreator creates a .qmlproject.user file which is personal to that computer. It is a file that should be automatically added to the .bzrignore or the respective ignore files of other revision control systems like git, mercurial etc.

It would be best if the user chooses to create a Simple UI or Tabbed UI project and chooses a revision control, a ignore file be automatically created with the .qmlproject.user entry added to it.

I think you meant 'It is a file that should be added to the .bzrignore... as we talked about this on IRC today. Ubuntu-SDK already leaves this file out of any 'add' operations to revision control, but it would surely be an improvement to generate an 'ignore' file when new projects are created.

The .user files are part of the project. I do not think it is a good idea to ignore any file in the project by default. There could be developers who wish to version control their .user files too.
