qpdfview doesn't respect my cups settings - or its own

Bug Description

I'm trying to get qpdfview to print in black greyscale. Neither does it respect this setting from global cups configuration, nor its own configuration dialog, where black greyscale is also set. It always prints in color.

Hello Andras,

thank you for taking the time to report this! Could you be specific about the version of qpdfview that you use? And the system it is running on?

Could you maybe give the daily debs [1] a try as we did resolve a few issues with CUPS parameter passing recently. If that does not work, we need to enable CUPS debug logging to determine the CUPS parameters that qpdfview does send.

(The problem might also be that grayscale printing is not a standardized CUPS option and different drivers name it differently. I guess we (or Qt) might just not include the proper option for your print driver.)

Best regards,
Adam

Thanks I'm using 0.4.18beta1-2 on stock Archlinux. It might be an issue with qt apps.

Here's some logs:

Actually I'm not sure it's printing in color. My color cartridge is empty and it's printing like it's missing some shades of black. But GTK3 prints fine, and accepts all settings.
