Hello, qpdfview is a wonderful viewer,
However, it is missing one important feature: I would like to be able to press a keyboard shortcut or menu item to rename the filename of the file I am currently viewing, preferably with a small pop-up floating window with only a textbox to enter the new file name and OK/cancel.
Could you please add this feature?

Currently you cand o `save as`, but then 2 files will exist. With rename
only one file should remain, the renamed one.
Could you please add this feature?
