Non-standard keyboard layout not recognized for shortcuts

Bug Description

Using BÉPO (french version of the Dvorak) layout, with XFCE desktop. Layout configured globally on the session (all windows, all applications). Works flawlessly except with qpdfview *keyboard shortcuts*, which use the OS-configured layout (AZERTY). Entering search terms is okay, it's the Control-letter stuff that's wrong.

Really bothersome.

Hello Da Long,

thank you for taking the time to report this. I am not sure how qpdfview would interact with the keyboard layout in any specific way since the keyboard shortcuts are handled by the Qt framework. I rather suspect that this might be a Qt (version 5) integration issue. Could please check with another Qt-based application whether these shortcut problems? Please make sure that if you use a qpdfview package that is based Qt version 5, that you try another application which is also based on Qt 5. Thank you!

Best regards, Adam.

Hi Adam,

Spot on ! A few recompiles, and with a proper Qt5 config everything works as it should.

Sorry for this not-really-a-bug, wich may be closed now.
