Feature Request: Show all search results

A useful feature in Evince is that when a user searches for a word, all matches (partial and whole word) appear in context with the page number. The user can click on the entry and jump to that corresponding location in the PDF.

Similar behaviour in qpdfview would be useful.

which version of qpdfview you are using? Since version 0.4.13 one can enable the extended search dock in the interface settings which should provide a UI similar to what you describe (restart required after changing the setting).

Nice feature. After checking the option in settings and restart, I've entered the searched expression and expanded the list. Maybe the list in search window could be already expanded (or the option for it visibly present in settings).

I've found one important not only esthetical detail - the diacritics of found items comparing to the original searched text displayed in viewer is mismatched. What to do with it?

I'd like to see: žščřěýáíéůú... - it's better for example for reading.

the issue with the diacritics needs to be solved in the Poppler library which does the text extraction behind the scenes.

Concerning expansion of the result list, I agree and I think it would be sensible to expand the results of the current tab automatically. Could you create a separate wishlist bug for that? Thanks.

Closing as the result list expansion was implemented in #1565109 and the text handling problems are rooted on the library level.
