Bug Description

by using debfoster to add and remove packages and by adding a item named

the installation clean.

if this is too much work, can you at least move debfoster to main. It is an
excellent replacement of apt-get when it comes to adding and removing packages.

Thanks for your bugreport.

This is hoary+1 material. Please note that synaptic already supports deborphan.
I personally think that the "autommatic-dependency" tracking feature of aptitude
is nicer and we should go that way in the future for apt and synaptic.

Cheers,
 Michael

isn't this fixed by now, there's apt-get autoremove etc. working already.

Thanks,

I consider this fixed with the system-wide implementation of automatic dependency tracking/removal.
