Bug Description
Reported by <email address hidden>, Apr 16, 2009
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Turn Canon pixma ip4300 printer off
2. Run qink
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect nothing to happen, so if I leave qink running as part of my KDE 4
desktop session, that qink will run when logon and just sit in the system tray.
What I see instead however is qink hiding in the system tray, but only
after waking up the printer.
As an end user I would only expect qink to interact with the printer when
either I have turned it on manually or unless the cups server has turned it
on to print. My rationale is that those are the only two times that an end
user would want to see any ink levels.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
