qcommit should show current column in Message box

It would be helpful if qcommit showed the current column the cursor is at in the Message box.

Handy if the project being committed to has rules/guidelines for maximum row length in commit messages.

What are typical maximum lengths. Would it work if we used a monospace font, and drew a line a 80 chars.

Hmm, the problem then is that you're making an assumption about what the line length should be.

If you're going to go down the line route, then perhaps make it configurable?
