qbittorrent continues downloading already downloaded torrents

qBittorrent continues to download a torrent even after its downloaded the full size of the torrent For instance an 800MB torrent can show as completed, however when I restart qbittorrent it may show as 80% done and then keep downloading, so the total downloaded shows 1GB. I am also continiously getting fast resume failed errors with file size for ... was expected to be ... This is the same problem that previously happened for me as noted in bug 682853. This previously caused me to actually have to re download already downloaded torrents, not sure if this is contributing but the end storage device is a USB connected hdd.

Are you using full allocation mode (pre allocation) ?

Pre allocation is not checked. Keep incomplete torrents is checked and set to my home directory.
