There only way qBittorrent can delete files from the hard disk (if you did not choose "Delete files from your hard drive.") is if the priority for those files was set to "Do not download / Ignored". qBittorrent sometimes downloads files even though you chose not to download them (due to technical limitations) and qBittorrent will remove those files afterwards.

Was this the case for you?

I.e. If a file from the distribution is marked as "ignore", then when you delete and upload the file will be deleted from your hard drive regardless of the designation "and delete data from your hard drive." I understand correctly?
P.S. Excuse me, but I have to use the Google translator to better understand your writing.

This happened also for me. I have a fresh install on qBittorrent v2.9.2. Started downloading of the first torrent with that program. After finishing the download I deleted the torrent from the transfer list using Delete function from the context menu. I DID NOT choose to delete files from the hard disk. However, the downloaded files were completely removed from hark disk!!

Forgot to say: I am running Windows 7 Home edition (spanish version), and used the windows version of qBittorrent.

@Graf: Yes, if files are marked as unwanted and if the torrent is removed, the unwanted files will be removed as well (even if you do a "soft" removal). This is meant to be a feature :)

@others: Is your problem related to what Graf was saying? I mean, did you mark those files as unwanted?
