Bug Description

Hello. I updated my qbittorrent-nox to the latest stable version 2.5.3 (server ubuntu 10.10) and when trying to enter the WebUI, he would not let me go, saying incorrect password. I stop qbittorrent, delete my qbittorrent.conf and restart qbittorrent, this creates a new file with the settings qbittorrent.conf!! All Clear! But after that I can not go to the WebUI with the same message! I have an Win7 Opera and Chrome, in both browsers the same result.

Are you using the correct default username/password ? admin / adminadmin (If I remember correctly).
Note that if you try too many times (3 failed attempts if I remember correctly), qBittorrent will backlist you and you will need to restart qBittorrent to try again.

If I remember correctly, the initial password is adminadmin and it says so on the command line when starting qBittorrent (otherwise, the users would not know what the initial password is). Please check what the initial password is, you can also try another browser (I personally have no issue with Firefox).

hmm .. it's weird, but the removal of the config parameter WebUI\Username=admin everything was fine.
By the way when you start the program writes only the name of member, but not the password!

very strange it all.
Thanks.

Ok, This was actually a bug, thanks for reporting that. I have just fixed it for next release.

If you manage to reproduce the login problem, please explain how because I couldn't. It worked straight away with admin:adminadmin here.

I do not know how it happened, I updated it via apt-get with the previous version and it ceased to login
