Bug Description

I´ve been using qbittorrent-nox v2.5.2 with a user interface on ubuntu 10.04 server for a couple of month now. I´m certainly not an expert.

When I started using the user interface I logged in on NameOfTheServer:8080 and that worked perfectly until suddenly half the site didnt load. I got the top and side menu but the torrents didnt show and neither did the bottom menu with the torrent info.

When I logged in on IpAdress:8080 it suddenly worked again. Until today when even that work around failed. Same issue.

Which Web Browser are you using? which version? and on wich OS?

You could try with a different browser to see if it helps (Firefox is well tested).

You are absolutely right!
I tried to load the GUI from the work computer using XP and firefox and it worked flawlessly.

The computer that failed loading the entire page was a miniPC with windows 7 starter and firefox. I still find it odd that it loads half the page but its definetly on the miniPC side rather than on qbittorrent.

Thanks for the help and a million thanks for q-bittorrent!

Update:

Everything works fine on the same miniPC and explorer. I tried to reinstall firefox but kept the personal files and that didnt solve the issue.

So if I understood properly, it works with Firefox on WinXP but not with Firefox on Win7 ?
Could you please check if this is the exact same version of Firefox on both?

I'm guessing you mean Internet Explorer?

Found the issue!

Do you have a minimal size for the torrent window?

It seems like the window of the miniPC using Firefox is EXACTLY the size thats needed to display the the main window (or the torrent window, or what the name might be) on the GUI. So if something happens that changes the frames ever so slightly the torrrents wont show.

That was the reason that it worked with Internet Explorer (that i guess have thinner frames or something) and that it used to work with Firefox.

I simply draged the corners of theFirefox browser so that they became a bit out of the monitor and it worked well.

The monitor on the miniPC is about 13 inches.

Does this make sense to you?

What's the screen resolution on the MiniPC?

I'm using MochaUI Javascript library for the Web UI. I don't know if there is a minimum size defined by it, but I can probably check.

Im using 1024x600.

It seems like the "torrentwindow" dissapears in full screen but shows either when I make it bigger OR smaller.
You can check on your firefox if it pops in and out when you drag on the corners of the browser.

Ubuntu 14.04.2
Firefox 36.0

This happens for me if the window is maximized. I pretty much always have the window maximized.

It seems to relate to the width of the window and everything disappears when it’s wider than 1076px according the Firefox’s Examine Element tool.
