Hmm.. I'll try to reproduce it here. I ran qBittorrent in valgrind and it could not find any memory leak though.

Did you enable any non-default feature in qBittorrent?

I have been running qBittorrent on Ubuntu v9.10 for an hour under valgrind. The only memory leak detected was in the new libnotify code (which is fixed now). However, it was a tiny memory leak and notifications are not used extensively in qBittorrent so this does not explain your memory problem.

I had RSS (with RSS feeds) enabled and DHT/LSD/PeX/UPnP/NAT-PMP enabled too. I had 3 torrents paused. I tried to run a search request too. I also enabled folder watching feature.

You may have a feature enabled that I did not think of enabling... If so, please tell me which one.
