Filter; CPU activity stays on 35% after a search task has finished

Bug Description

After choosing »Filter« the cpu usage goes up to 35% and stays on 35% even if the filter has finished it's search.
CPU usage will stay on 35% until I delete the filter.
Could it be the filter routine runs in an endless loop here?
