This turns out to be mostly an issue with the arm jobs. I've fixed the first one:

 http://10.97.0.1:8080/job/smem-raring-desktop-armhf-upgrade-idle-nexus702/

The phablet is more complicate:
 http://10.97.0.1:8080/job/smem-quantal-phablet-armhf-install-idle-maguro-02/configure

We aren't currently using UTAH, so we need another way to pull the kernel info from it.

Changed in utah:
status: New → In Progress
importance: Undecided → Medium

This job has a temporary hack:
 http://10.97.0.1:8080/job/smem-quantal-phablet-armhf-install-idle-maguro-02/

it now outputs a file called uname.txt. This allows us to start tracking kernels for now. Ultimately we should run this using UTAH.

The next step is to update the jenkins pull script to also check for this file.
