JSON API for coverage metrics of debian packages

The coverage dashboard currently has an API, like:

http://162.213.34.64:8080/api/gaps/project/xpathselect/

but the key here is the 'project name', and I need to be able to get coverage % for a debian binary package name (libxpathselect1.2 for example).

Discussing with thomi, we'd need to add a debian package model to make this relationship possible; thomi believes there exists a Python module for parsing debian/control files and that it may be python-apt , will look into.
