I can't find a new revision since the release of 2014.2, which doesn't have this problem, so i don't know what the issue is.

I suspect this is the same issue as Bug #1324158

I agree and apologize i didn't update this bug further, as i figured it out since then. Still, the problem with the missing release for 2014.3 still is open.

Releases are on pypi (https://pypi.python.org/pypi/pytz/2014.4)

Launchpad seems to have stopped sucking in the files from pypi, so I'll add a task there.
