To assist the user with version decision, have support for the version resource in the proxy and some functional tests to make sure it works.

The proxies right now have no methods to hit the version urls. Each service should have a versions method that returns version resources.

Ok, I see now. Is this something you think we need for 1.0? I've never thought to use this call for anything.

Looking into it, we'll at least need to add attributes to each of the Version resources (links, status, id seem to be the three we'll need). The few places I've looked have all used the same Version resource, so I'm going to look at adding this to the base proxy to see if that might be a way to tackle it.

I don't think it is required for 1.0 since we handle the version negotiation
