Quickstarter check box in options>memory doesn't work

Bug Description

The quickstarter checkbox looks checked, but when you close Options and then open it again, it becomes unchecked.

The quickstarter is therefore rendered unusable.

Note: This is for 2.02 in Dapper. Worked fine in Breezy with previous version of OOO.

Have you ubuntu-desktop installed? I had this problem, fixed by installing this package. (more precisely openoffice.org-gnome I think, but I'm not sure)

works for me; please recheck with a recent live CD, and/or (re)move your .openoffice.org2 directory (after making a backup). Note that OOo needs to be restarted.
