cannot open aifc.py

I cannot open aifc.py in the Python library with rev 745.
"Cannot open" means I waited several minutes without seeing the content of the file and finally killed the emacs process.

It takes no more than a second with 6.0.3.

I am also seeing this issue. rev 745 looks like it issues a `python -i` which leaves an open python prompt. Am I right in my deductions?

unfortunatly Emacs hangs here already with aifc.py and r743 :(
