Bug Description
Running 6.1.1 on emacs-24.2.1 on fedora 18 linux.
python shell mode acts very strangely. The first time I fire up the interpreter with C-c ! it shows in the second screen. Then C-c C-c will execute buffer. But if I try again, it acts very strange. First of all, C-c ! in the python buffer seems to execute the buffer. But really bizarre, C-h c C-c ! says it's undefined!! The buffer mode has changed from python to python shell compile (or something like that), which seems to accompany it acting really weird. Output in the buffer doesn't seem to be synched with what's happening.
I'm using python-mode 5.2 and it works fine (but without some of the fancy additions that 6.1.1 has).
