Bug Description

Hey there,

I'm pulling my hair out trying to get this to talk to the MySQL 5.6 new built-in memcache server. I'm curious if you have been able to do this or not. Apparently it's memcache compliant but I can't figure out how to get it functioning. I can do the queries at a telnet session and verify that yes they show up but I can't get this working with django in any way shape or form.

I pinging you to see if you or anyone you know has successfully gotten django to use this combination or am I stomping into new territory?

Thanks so much!!
