HTTPConnection: check if login was successful

Bug #210731 reported by Markus Korn on 2008-04-02
Affects Status Importance Assigned to Milestone

Bug Description

authenticating via:
   >>> Bug.authentication = {"password": <mypassword>, "email": <myemail>}
does not check if the authentication was successful. It would be nice if this raises an "login failed"-Error if the logindata is not correct.

this patch against py-lp-bugs.main rev85 implements the described behavior.

Please review. Can someone who is not member of launchpad-beta-testers please test this? - Thanks
