Bug Description

config_list and config_show should show the deploys reference it,
so that user can tell a config is referenced by what deployments.

Extra API calls will be needed to determine this, so it may not be appropriate to show this in a config-list or config-show command output.

This might be better done as a --config filter option on deployment-list, which would be more appropriately implemented as one of the new openstackclient commands:
https://blueprints.launchpad.net/heat/+spec/heat-support-python-openstackclient
http://specs.openstack.org/openstack/heat-specs/specs/mitaka/python-openstackclient.html

We'd prefer to have a soft-freeze on UX based improvements to existing heat commands, so you might consider volunteering to implement the new 'openstack software config' and 'openstack software deployment' commands

Hi Steve,
Thanks for your suggestion.
So we should add new features to the new openstackclient commands,
rather than improve the existing heatclient commands.
Does this mean the new openstackclient would replace heatclient in the future?

And, yes, I'd like to volunteer to implement the new 'openstack software config' and
'openstack software deployment' commands.

That is the plan yes. We're going to try and implement as many commands
as possible.

Thats great news, you could start by putting your name against a couple
of commands in this etherpad
