Can't get volume usage

I can't get volume usage from storage.
for example if I have 10GB volume and instance use 2GB it should show 8GB not 10GB

as I said in first comment, for example I have 10gb volume, and I have a 2gb file in it, on the other hand I have a 20gb volume and its free. I need to exactly know about the free space (capacity) of 10gb volume or used space of it but from the available documents what I can get is the occupied capacity of user quota. in this example user have 1tb quota and the occupied space of volumes will be 30gb but I need the used space of a specific volumes ( first one).
