Bug Description
This is not a bug report; it's an improvement request.
I noticed that nova CLI supports a very useful feature for displaying the current version.
You just need to type
nova --version
and you get the version displayed (e.g. 2.8.0.11).
I would recommend to implement a similar feature.
Please note that, in nova CLI the --version is a sort of highest priority parameter; for example you can type something like:
nova thisCommandDoes
and you get the version displayed (even if the line is polluted with invalid options and/or commands).
In addition, when you indicate --version, nova CLI does not do anything else but displaying the version (even if you provide sensible commands).
I personally find this very useful.
