support for more tags?

I can't find whether mutagen supports this or not, but support for "Grouping" and "Album Artist" would be very nice. Grouping is essential for making any sense of classical music. It'd be really awesome if you supported "OPUS" (catalog number) and "RELEASEDATE" (date of the composition) as well!!! You could be the first person in the world to make classical music sensible in a digital library - no one else has done it, and it wouldn't break anything.

You might want to use the pytags utility to check what tags are supported for a given file, e.g.:

  pytags [myfile]
