Bug Description

If you open pyroom and press control+H for the help contents, the help text is displayed in a new buffer. I think this will be confusing for new users. They see their written text disappear by a keypress (ctrl+h) and have to figure out the buffer system before they can get back to their text. My suggestion would be to open the help contents in a new layer that is scrollable and which you can close by pressing the ESC key.

Confirmed; this was a good hack but is a confusing way to present help. Perhaps work on the Preferences UI will make this possible too.

Would be nice. But wouldn't there be the same issue of them having to figure out how to exit help? Its something to look at in the future anyway. Maybe you would like to try and develop it KenSentMe :)

I would really like to help, but there is one big problem: i am no coder :) . I would love to learn to code, but i dont have much time for that at the moment.

About your question: If the help includes a line that says: Hit ESC to exit help, the problem would be solved, right?

I redid some of the help text. Adding a hint how to close the help buffer should work (and not confuse the user with new gui elements)
