Hi rozie,

thanks for using pyjama and reporting bugs! In this case this is an Jamendo-related-issue since they do not support setting favourites, playlists and so on. Currently they are developing a "Jamendo Set API" - but I think it could take long time until they finally implement that API.

As soon as Jamendo implements this Set API, I will use it in pyjama.

I hope pyjama is usefull for you anyway.

Sincerely,

Daniel

Hi Daniel,

Thanks for quick reply. I wonder if there's workaround possible. For example option for listing albumes marked as favourite in separate tab with "open in separate windows" in browser, so the only thing which logged user has to do is clicking "add to favourite" in a browser.
I also wonder how import works - now, after I added some albums in Pyjama, when I again click "import favourites from Jamendo" will it simply overwrite favourites list in Pyjama, or will it only import missing albums from Jamendo? If there's no option just to add missing albums, please consider adding it. With option from above it may be pretty good workaround for poor Jamendo's API.

Regards,
Pawel

Hi!

Now there is a button in the stared-albums-view which allows you to open all albums in your default browser, which are stared in pyjama and not stared on jamendo.com.
This isn't a good solution at all - but it works for me.

Concerning your request: As far as I remember, only those albums will be imported from jamendo, which are not stared within pyjama. So no albums will be overwritten oder simething.

Best regards,

brb

Oh, one think to remember:

Pyjama receives data from jamendo.com delayed because jamendo uses caching for the API. For this reason: if you have exported your stared albums and then click on the export button again, jamendo will still tell pyjama, that none of your pyjama-albums are stared on jamendo. Pyjama than will - again - open a webpage for all your stared albums.

To make a long story short: After exporting your albums you should wait a few days before exporting again.
