no mouse arrow in gdm login screen after install - its there - you can use it by guess work but ye cant see it... you can always use mouse keys but confusing if you dont know whats going on

It seems to be the same as Bug #563555 (in generic ubuntu) -- the gdm cursor is visible again if you install metacity! (It's not enough to install metacity-common, in case you were wondering.)
I can't spot any particular files bundled with metacity that cause this. We could add metacity package to the DVD, preferably not to the CD though. Hmm. What do you reckon?
