remove bloat from kernel

Bug Description

Since we use Ubuntu's kernel as base/default, i would be good to run through its current config to remove useless built-in and modules based features. I reckon we could save a lot of ISO space and footprint, old Puredyne kernel (Dyne:II legacy) was much smaller.
