Bug Description

It would be handy to *always* have the current kernel config in the bzr devel branch so we can check it online.

this is quite impractical as the configs are being broken up into smaller files by the kernel build system. I will put up the entire debian subdir with all configs into the bzr repo, but it won't be as easy as just having one file. I will enable the option to have /proc/config.gz too

See, there must be sometimes, where I can make a change because it's needed and I can test it here, etc ... Or for example when people from the Puredyne list want to check or compare their config to help out. For example with the mactel kernel posted recently, it would have been easier to say "look here is config folder, branch it, test it on your mac, if it works, all good, if not and you find out why, send a patch.

If the config is not shared and you don't push it regularly it will be impossible to contribute efficiently. Or do you have another idea?

re /proc/config.gz, it's not needed. You already have the config in /boot.

I'd surprised if this only what it takes to make it work. Could be that your kernel is just too old ... or that it's something else.

I close this as won't fix as we're now using the ubuntu stock rt kernel until we come up with our own kernel-concoction
