PANTHEON Mercury

pear install does not work

On 1.1 beta AMI, pear install correctly downloads the package but does not install it.

It works fine on 1.0 AMI.

Also please post the pear package you're trying to install and the error messages you receive.

You might also check to make sure this ins;t an upstream error with Lucid.
