also in this bug (as in the duplicate) it seems that the problem is around
---------
Copying X authorization file to chroot filesystem...
xauth: error in locking authority file /home/tyt/.Xauthority
---------

questions coming in my mind are:
- are you running uck as a normal user or root (answer should be normal user cause the home dir is hayabusa)
- are you running uck within an X session or on a terminal?

"Building failed.

Please examine file build.log which has been created in directory where you run the script.

Ok, it seems I found the point

The problem exist only if you enable synaptic for choosing packages you need in your live CD, without this all work fine.

ok, login into your gnome account, open gnome-terminal and type sudo customize-live-cd and all should work fine

anyway i think we should disable "synaptic customization" when users isn't in X

I think that's what you need :) And run it with sudo as a normal user.

Fabrizio, problem persist in any case if we enable "synaptic customization", ever if I try to launch "gksu customize-cd-gui" from ALT+F2 or if I launch it in a Xterm under gnome, sudoed or not.

You should not run "customize-cd-gui" as root in any way. You should start it as your normal user, it will prompt for sudo password (in console window) when it becomes necessary.

Try again and report if it works OK now.

Not a bug. Documentation will be improved to state that UCK should be run as normal user.

Changed in uck:
status: Unconfirmed → Rejected
