Please backport blobby 1.0~rc1-2 (universe) from quantal to precise.

Reason for the backport:

New upstream version.
The old one isn't compatible with the online servers.

Thank you for requesting this backport. If the version in the release is truly broke, this should probably be an SRU. Are all the online servers switched over or just some?

All the official ones but you can host your own servers, play on the LAN or locally.
Is there a policy about SRUs of mutiplayer games with protocol changes?

The only precedent we have AFAIK is bug 852603 for hedgewars. I'd suggest asking the SRU team, I'm happy to approve this backport if they say no.
