Please backport lammps 0~20121116.git9eeec79-1~exp1 (universe) from raring to precise.

Reason for the backport:
========================
I would like to see a backported version of lammps, which is widely used for scientific simulation. Specifically, I would like to see lammp available in the LTS releases , Ubuntu 12.04 and Ubuntu 10.04

These releases will be more widely available, and is more stable to create virtual machine images based on LTS rather than on 12.10 and above.

You can test-build the backport in your PPA with backportpackage:
