Bug Description
There's currently no user interface to activate "airplane" or "presentation" modes.
Are there any plans to implement such integration?

Not sure what the user interface means here, the command line ppmtool provides this functionality. Actually ppm just provides the mechanism, and the current UI is just for debug but not for real usage. The presentation mode should be switched by corresponding application, and the only UI is an applet to on/off radio, which is airplane mode.
