Postler fails to report unread mail on Messaging Menu

I've just downloaded elementary Jupiter, and one of the default applications is Postler, version 0.1.1

When a new mail arrives, the Docky helper shows unread mail count, but the message indicator doesn't change.

However, if there is new mail on startup, the message indicator shows unread mail, but after reading it, the indicator remains as unread.

Sergio, how is this low? It renders the messaging menu completely useless for Jupiter users.

Since Docky shows the right number and it's nothing that actually prevents the user from using postler or reading mail,i thought that low was the right importance to assign.I
f you want to change it to medium,it's no problem for me though..

This is working in the development version.
I generally second Cassidy, this kind of bug renders the messaging menu useless and could be very misleading for users.
