Postler doesn't report fetching errors (fails silently)

Bug Description

Postler doesn't display messages about errors that occur during fetching mail. However, it does display error messages if it's launched in verbose mode (with -v parameter).

Steps to reproduce:
1) Enter invalid password or just leave the password field blank
2) Hit "receive all mail" button
3) Observe the silent fail, be confused

I agree: a mail fetching error should certainly be displayed via the graphical interface by default.

You should be seeing a red infobar above the message view.

Could you try building from the repository or using the dialy PPA and see if you still don't see it?

I've tried the latest version from https://launchpad.net/~postler-dev/+archive/devel and I still see the red infobar only if I launch Postler with -v key.
