Bug Description

I would like to be able to sort all emails by either name or date in order to filter through and organize the mail. This also helps me clean up my inbox by deleting or moving emails by the same sender all at once.

For names I personally use the search, but that doesn't work for dates obviously. Unsure where this would go, I'd like to not have column headers at least.

since it is already sorted by date, and you can search by name, maybe all we need is a reverse sort option?? Crystal, do you really not think search can do the same job?

Maybe this could be solved as a more general feature request to show/hide UI elements (such as column headers) in the same style as Midori (context menu of the toolbar) or if that is the only element to show/hide, maybe show a toggle in the AppMenu?

I would find it very helpful if you could give a more detailed description of what you want to do. Even if it's impossible right now. A few steps how you would like to do it would be good.

I talked to Crystal about this alot, and I figured out the use case. Let's say she is cleaning up her mailbox. She would sort by sender, and then go through the huge list of emails selecting large groups of emails all at once based on their sender, and delete them all at once. The reason search is less practical for that, is she would have to search over and over and over for each sender she wants to purge. That could get VERY tedious.
Tell me if you need a better explanation....

This is indeed a really annoying problem. This would be the best mail client I've ever used (for it's simplicity and speed) if it would just sort my e-mail by date. Now e-mail wich were received at the same day are sort of grouped together, but the order of the days themselves seems to be a bit random :p
I've got to find my newest e-mails (received today) somewhere in the middle of the list.
