Postler created two folders for one folder

Bug Description

In my gmail account i have a folder called "Launchpad.net", when i synced my e-mails for the first time, postler created a folder called "Launchpad" and sub-folder called "net".

The "Launchpad" folder is empty, and the sub-folder "net" contains all the e-mails that in theory are in the folder "Launchpad.net"

This happens because '.' is considered to be a separator (like "~-"),so any folder Something.SthElse is represented as SthElse being subfolder of Something.
This can be fixed with the attached patch,although this means folders of other providers which use '.' as a separator (i don't know which one could do this) wouldn't be recognized properly.

I'm afraid this fix is a no-go. '.' is pretty much the standard except for Gmail.

This may become much easier to solve once we have a new backend, and I somewhat consider it low priority for now.
