Bug Description

On a clean Lucid-installation (Desktop x86, 32-bit) with the following packages installed: debian-builder cdbs debhelper python-distutils-extra
I get build errors:
/usr/share/cdbs/1/class/python-distutils.mk:68: WARNING: Use of XS-Python-Version and XB-Python-Version fields in debian/control is deprecated with pysupport method; use debian/pyversions if you need to specify specific versions.
test -x debian/rules
mkdir -p "."
mkdir -p debian/python-module-stampdir
cd . && python setup.py build --build-base="/home/ceda/Skrivbord/pomodoro-timer/./build"
python: can't open file 'setup.py': [Errno 2] No such file or directory
make: *** [debian/python-module-stampdir/pomodorotimer] Error 2
dpkg-buildpackage: error: debian/rules build gave error exit status 2
debuild: fatal error at line 1340:
dpkg-buildpackage -rfakeroot -D -us -uc failed

Full log attached. (Help much appreciated - can't get things done without a timer! ;-)

Fredrick, the python script is executable. Simply execute 'pomodorotimer' in the bin folder, and that's all there is to it! It's a very basic implementation so far.

Changed in pomodoro-timer:
status: New → Invalid
importance: Undecided → Low
assignee: nobody → Chris Sims (jcsims)

Just encountered the same bug - I thought I could build it as a debian package, seeing that there is a debian/ directory.
In the long term (if you want to get included in e.g. Ubuntu) you should have a setup.py or similar - the one provided by quickly is a good starting point.
