Bug Description

We talked on Twitter about this issue a couple of weeks back and it is still occurring. This just happened on a fresh install of Kubuntu. Running from the cli here is the crash info:

From the traceback it's clearly related to the keyring part...

It's strange, I know python-keyring had some segfault problems with KWallet in Natty, but those were theoretically solved in the newer version of python-keyring shipped with Oneiric.

Richard, I think I already asked this on Twitter, but aren't there any particularities in your Kubuntu setup worth mentioning?

Got the segfault in a fresh Kubuntu 11.10, finally! I can now investigate properly.

Thanks for the comment, but the bug is already confirmed and triaged. In those cases, please avoid "+1" comments with no new information and use the "affects me too" green link on top instead.

Also, please comment in English to keep the report consistent.

I've completely rewritten the keyring code. The bug will be solved in the next version.
